Fall bass Fishing

Postby tipton25 » Fri Oct 23, 2009 2:21 pm

I was out on Thursday 10/22 from about 9 until 4:30. I put in at 528 (lake Arthur) water temp was 52 degrees. Headed up to muddy creek flipping some wood and hitting some weeds. I was throwing a jig, spinner bait and rattle trap. Didnt have any luck in muddy creek so decided to try to find some warmer water. Headed to the other end of the lake and water temp was 57 up around bear run. The warmer water didnt help at all. Fished Mcdaniels, big run, boat rental, 528 to finish the day and didnt get a bite all day. Was anyone else out? Any luck? It was a great day on the water but the fishing for me was brutal.

I went out 2 weeks ago and the bass were really hitting. I didn't catch anything nice, but in mid november catching double digits is just plain fun. try flipping some green pumpkin tubes into the laydowns. be patient the hits weren't instant.
