I managed to get one nice striper this past weekend. I had a few more strikes, but I wasn't hooking up. Check the article out on blog, it might help you. http://fishpittsburgh.com/blog/?p=259. It won't be to long from now when they really turn on.

Thanks. that's a good article and i have used some of that stuff in the past. i normally get them on a long-a.

I'm going to try and get up there this weekend. they are saying raining and cold, you think that little white spinnerbait will catch anything.

BTW i have a boat i will be fishing from. Any extra info would be great. Thank you

I would defidently give that little white spinnerbait a try. It hasn't worked for me yet this year, but all it takes is getting into the right school of baitfish and they will be all over your spinnerbait.

Really focus on the wind blown rocky shore lines tomorrow if you are after the striper. When you get a hit really work that area over because there will be multiple fish feeding. If you are not worried about the species which you catch I would head into shannon's cove for some pike action on the spinnerbaits. they are very active in there right now. Good Luck.

Went out last night and caught 3 striper on the roadbed at dusk. A couple nice ones. Check out Cancilla's Fishing Blog for more info and pics.
