If anyone is ever looking for a lake in the us to really catch a bunch of Pickerel I have it. Oneida Lake in New York is not only full of smallmouth bass, but the pickerel population is out of control. I was recently up there for a bass tournament and caught between 10 and 30 pickerel a day. White spinnerbaits and buzzbaits seemed to really do well for them.
