Lately I have been asking myself and I have been getting asked where do you get your information.  In the technology age you can get any information you need from knots, lures, lakes, how to instructional dvd’s, and manufacturers information with the click of a button.  Then there is a laundry list of magazines such as Bassmaster Magazine and In-Fisherman Magazine.  An angler can truly get overwelmed with the amount of information that they can gather.  My best piece of advice to you is that you have to get out there and go fishing.  Nothing you read or watch will replace experience in different weather conditions, spawn cycles, and other conditions.  Just because you watch or ready something doesn’t mean that you can execute it, and it defidently doesn’t mean that it will work on the your favorite body of water.  I am not trying to take away from the useful knowledge that you will recieve by reading and watching informative show, let’s face it you wouldn’t be reading this if there wasn’t good information out there, but every professional angler and guide will tell you that the knowledge you gain on the water will mean more in the long run.  Next time you are going to the lake  experiment fishing new techniques, use new spots, and pay attention to the details of they day because those details will make you a better fisherman.
